BFA in Sculpture Modern

 

The Course for BFA (Sculpture) begins with preliminary aspects of clay modeling of simple human parts like ear, nose and eyes: and is led to the studies of human head. 

 
As the student makes progress he or she is exposed to other medium like wood-carving and stone carving of human head and full life studies - along with the knowledge of composition. Finally, a student will have known the sound knowledge of human full form and composition. Simultaneously, techniques of metal casting are also given to the students.

 For the students of the Traditional Sculpture addition to the basics of drawings, the lesse on the relief and round compositions - base on traditional sculpture are provided. Other elements of traditional sculpture like relief & round carvings on motifs and patterns in st are also gradually introduced. In the following years, the student will have learnt to sculpt create independently - full figures of deities as according to the traditional ways.
