The 23rd Anniversary of Sirjana College of Fine Arts was celebrated amidst a gala ceremony in the presence of Hon’ble Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Member of the Parliament Representatives, Federal Nepal as the Chief Guest.
On that occasion, the College honored veteran artist Shyam Lal Shrestha for his outstanding contributions as a Founder Member and faculty member of the Department Painting.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the meritorious students of the Class of 2021 with highest scores in Board Exam of the Final Year of the Bachelor level (BFA) were also awarded with respective honors. The name of the awards and the recipients are as follows:
- UTTAM KHAREL MEMORIAL AWARD with a cash prize of NPR 10,000.00 to each two students was awarded to Rasik Rai for topping among the boy-students and Rishita Khatri for topping among the girl-students in the Department of Painting.
- UTTAM KHAREL MEMORIAL AWARD with a cash prize of NPR 10,000.00 was awarded to
Kunsang Wangmo Lama for topping in the Department of Sculpture.
- LIONS MANRAM FOUNDATION AWARD with a cash prize of NPR 10,000.00 to each two students was awarded to Sanjeev Maharjan for topping among the boy-students and Sushreena Shakya for topping among the girl-students in the Department of Graphic Communications.
- SCoFA OUTSTANDIG STUDENT OF THE YEAR AWARD with a cash prize of NPR 20,000.00 was awarded to Rasik Rai for securing highest marks among all the students of the Class of 2021.
